Welcome to Haitang Eastern Therapies

Haitang Eastern Therapies Center integrates eastern therapies like Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Gua Sha, Therapeutic Massage, and Haitang Herbal Remedies to provide personalized healthcare that aims to treat the roots of illness and restore the body and mind.
Eastern Therapies is a medical system used for thousands of years to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease. It is based on the belief that Qi (“Chee”, the body’s vital energy) flows along meridians (channels) in the body and keeps a person’s spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical health in balance. The basic philosophy of Eastern medicine practitioners is to treat the whole person—encouraging a healthy body to prevent illness and speed recovery.

For your first appointment we ask you to complete the patient In-Take Form. Please try to arrive 15-minutes before your appointment to ensure a timely start and full treatment.

Prices for acupuncture and other modalities range from $99 for a 30-minute treatment to $265 for a 90-minute treatment. The initial Haitang Eastern Therapies appointment includes a free 10-minute to 15-minute comprehensive discussion of your health history, concerns, and treatment protocol using a range of Chinese medicinal therapies. These therapies may include acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition advice, supplement, and lifestyle guidance. We also offer several different packages, including a starter package. You can see a full breakdown of our pricing here.

We accept cash, American Express, VISA, MasterCard, and Discovery.

Yes, we do! Our Starter Pack includes your initial consultation & first treatment, + one additional treatment for $300. We also offer memberships; you can learn more about both packages and memberships here

Most of our patients see us weekly; however, each case is unique. Your practitioner will craft a precise treatment plan for you and tell you how often you should receive treatment. Everyone responds to treatment differently, so your results will depend on your situation. Certain issues can be addressed in a visit or two; other cases might require more treatments until your goal is met. Your practitioner will be able to guide you on the results you can expect. Often, patients will notice relief from a specific symptom immediately, though we may need more time to work on the underlying root of the issue. The longer the condition has affected you, the more time it will take to treat it.

When you arrive, you will be required to wear a face mask, and we will take your temperature to confirm there is no sign of fever. If your temperature exceeds 99.9 degrees Fahrenheit, you will have to return when your temperature declines. Vaccinated customers are no longer required to wear a mask during treatment; however, you are encouraged to wear a mask before your treatment as a courtesy to fellow guests. We encourage you to wear loose-fitting clothes for treatment to minimize the need to undress. When your treatment is over, if your practitioner prescribes an herbal formula, supplements, or other retail items, they will be left at the front desk, pre-bagged, and ready to go.

Haitang Eastern Therapies staff must adhere to strict rules, including taking their temperature, signing a health declaration before their shift, wearing scrubs, face masks, and gloves in the Center, and following new cleaning and safety guidelines. We have enhanced our already stringent cleaning and safety protocols.

Before your arrival, ensure you’re NOT coming in on an empty stomach. A light meal beforehand is recommended. There is no dress code, come as you are. Should your session require any disrobing, you will be draped where necessary and with your utmost comfort in mind. Acupuncture promotes relaxation and does so by reducing the heart rate. If you are planning exercise and acupuncture on the same day, we recommend you exercise first, followed by acupuncture. The reverse order may be counterintuitive.

We do not process insurance in-house; however, we are happy to provide you with a receipt with the necessary coding to submit to your insurance provider. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to see if you are covered for acupuncture treatments and for what specific conditions acupuncture treatments are covered.
